Jordan & Maggie Wedding | Festivities Event Center | Oklahoma City Wedding Photographer | Michelle Valantine Photography

Tornado warnings, claps of thunder, lightening strikes and huge, billowing dark grey clouds loomed overhead…the last thing you want to experience on your wedding day! Even though severe storm warnings lingered throughout the afternoon and into the night, miraculously the sky cleared for the First Look and the outdoor wedding ceremony.  Even a few last-minute raindrops couldn’t take away from the festivities of the day!
The bride and groom met in college, and have been together for three and a half years.  Maggie said that walking down the aisle towards Jordan was the best part of the day, knowing that they were surrounded by the love and support of friends and family.  She said, “As I walked towards him, Jordan and I were both tearing up and we couldn’t look away from each other.”  Jordan said that since he was “anxious all day, to the point of feeling sick,” the first look was the best part of the day for him.  He shared, “The moment I saw Maggie, I felt 100% relieved, and it made the hours before the ceremony so much more enjoyable.”
The Festivities Event Center in El Reno, OK, was the perfect wedding backdrop, with floor to ceiling windows, a whole second floor for getting ready, and beautifully manicured, romantic setting for the outdoor nuptials.  The bride took our breath away in her lace-embroidered strapless wedding gown, followed by her bridesmaids, dressed in individually designed gowns in soft hues of dusty rose.  Each bridesmaid had a spring floral bouquet, similar to the bride’s bouquet of pastel pink roses and lilies.
After the couple exchanged wedding vows, pictures of the family and wedding party were taken, and it was time to celebrate!  While the First Dances were performed, guests lined up to enjoy a Mexican buffet.  Dessert included the gorgeous wedding cake, a chocolate groom’s cake, and assorted homemade cookies and pastries.  The evening came to a close as the guests sent the star-gazed couple off with sparklers!  The newly married couple escaped to Cozumel and Yucatan Progreso for their honeymoon.
It was such a pleasure capturing all the special moments that made up this absolutely delightful wedding day.  Together, my Mom and I captured the people, the colors, the ceremony, the food, the dances, and the love and caring that was shown by everyone for Maggie and Jordan as they start their adventure of married life together!  For more information on my Wedding Packages, please visit my Weddings page on my website, www.michellevalantinephotography.com.

The bride looked "drop-dead gorgeous" in her lace-embroidered, strapless, wedding gown, followed by her bridesmaids, dressed in individually designed gowns in soft hues of dusty rose. Each bridesmaid had a spring floral bouquet, similar to the bride's bouquet of pastel pink roses and lilies. After the couple exchanged wedding vows, pictures of the family and wedding party were taken, and it was time to celebrate! First dances came next, then guests were invited to enjoy a Mexican buffet. Dessert included the gorgeous wedding cake, chocolate groom's cake, and assorted, homemade cookies and pastries. The evening came to a close as the guests sent the star-gazed couple off with sparklers! The newly married couple escaped to Cozumel and Yucatan Progreso for their honeymoon.
...and they lived happily ever after.  Congratulations Jordan and Maggie!
