Sabrina
and Brandon’s wedding at the Civic Center Music Hall - Meinders Hall of
Mirrors - in Oklahoma City, OK was the perfect backdrop to a classy, yet intimate, wedding. The Art Deco elegance of this
historic ballroom boasting 1930’s architectural styling with breathtaking
views of the downtown skyline, simply oozed naturally romantic vibes while
guests were transported to another place and time.
The
bride’s fairy-tale style gown, made of delicate, needlepoint lace
with tiny shoulder straps and a full, tulle skirt, made her look and feel like
a beautiful “Princess”…so appropriate because that’s the meaning of her name!
The bridesmaids were dressed in individually designed gowns in complimentary
shades of purple and beige. Sabrina’s gorgeous spring bridal bouquet included
white roses, pink peonies, ranunculus, sparkling baby’s breath, and several
shades of greenery. Her bridesmaids’
bouquets carried out a similar theme with baby’s breath and white roses.
Golden afternoon rays of sunlight bathed the nuptial couple as they exchanged vows and
rings, promising a lifetime together. A formal
tea ceremony followed, to honor the bride and groom’s families and thank them
for their love and support. After the
ceremony, the ballroom was transformed into a relaxed, inviting reception
space designed to allow friends and family to celebrate and enjoy the
evening.
I
was able to steal the bride and groom away for a quick shot by the
multi-colored fountain, while the room was abuzz with chatter, children played
a game of “throw the rose petals” on the dance floor, and guests were served a
buffet dinner and cash bar. The
evening’s festivities continued with the cutting of the cake, special toasts to
the bride and groom, and lots of dancing!
Congratulations Sabrina
and Brandon! May your “Fairy-Tale Wedding” and your love for each other continue
forever after!
