Katerina | Norman, OK Senior Photographer | Sutton Wilderness Park | Michelle Valantine Photography

Katerina is a beautiful senior who will be graduating high school this spring.

Me:  Will you share 3 things about you?
Katerina:
1. really like cats.
2. I'm an avid reader.
3. I'm quiet.

In her session, we captured her with a few of her favorite things...
Martin, one of her treasured family pets.

Katerina and her Mom

Me:  Describe Katerina as a child.
Her Mom:  As the oldest child, I have always been impressed by how helpful and caring she is with her 4 younger siblings.  When she was 5 years old, she would help me carry the twin boys in and out of the vehicle.  To this day, she continues to help her siblings.  Just earlier tonight she helped one of her brothers with his calculus homework.  And every night at bedtime, her younger sister, who is uniquely and curiously afraid of serial killers, asks Katerina to turn out the light in their bedroom so her younger sister can stay out of harm's way safe in bed.

Me:  When Katerina was a child, what did she want to be when she grew up?
Her Mom:  At 5 years old, she wanted to be a ballerina.  Not because she took ballet classes or enjoyed dancing.  But merely for the fact that it rhymed with her name:  Katerina Ballerina.
At 9 years old, she upgraded her choice of profession to a Butterfly Scientist, which coincidentally relates very well to the Biology degree she is currently interested in pursuing.

Me:  And Katerina, what would you like to be now when you grow up?
Katerina:  I would love to work as a curator in a museum.

Me:  What are you looking forward to most after graduation?
Katerina:  Getting to buy Chick-fil-a sandwiches in the Student Cafeteria and getting my own cat.
