Summer & David Wedding | Thunderbird Chapel, Norman, OK | Norman Wedding Photographer | Michelle Valantine Photography

Summer and David decided on a small, intimate wedding, tying-the-knot at the tucked-away and woodsy Thunderbird Chapel in Norman, OK.  Little did Summer know when David became her personal trainer, that they would one day be married.  This was a second marriage for both, and Summer’s bridesmaid and maid of honor, and David’s best man were their respective children.

Summer was stunning in her trumpet style lace wedding dress, “killer” glittery heels, holding a beautiful, handmade bouquet consisting of pink roses, white lilies, pink freesia, white baby’s breath and greenery.  And David looked dashing in his champagne-colored, three-piece suit, light blue tie, and a single rose boutonniere. Such a beautiful couple on their wedding day!

Summer’s dad was brought to tears during his “First Look;” it was clear that this was a special day for him as well.  The littlest girls led the way down the aisle, dropping rose petals, and racing each other to the end, while David and his son watched with awe as Summer, his soon-to-be-bride, walked down the aisle, arm-in-arm with her dad.  The ceremony included the assembly of a Unity Cross, signifying the two becoming one together with their faith in Christ, and hand-written vows.  At the end of the ceremony, David, caught up in the emotion of the “I do’s,” kicked up his heel in celebration!

After the ceremony, the bride and groom were greeted by a throng of well- wishing guests blowing bubbles.  The day was filled with heartfelt moments shared by the people they loved, and we tried our best to capture every beautiful detail, big and small.
